The Fifth Business is an integrated communications and digital media design company specialising in Communications Consultancy, Multimedia Development and E-Learning.

We are currently looking for a communications professional to provide consultancy services to our international client base. Job responsibilities include:

• Communications strategy development (emphasis on internal communications)
• Stakeholder analysis
• Business writing for websites, brochures, magazines and speeches
• Presentation development
• Video production
• Event management
• Design project management
• Mentoring of junior staff

This role will be based in The Hague but the successful candidate will also be expected to work at the client's site and travel on the client's behalf.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold at least a bachelors degree and have proven experience in corporate/internal communications, including strategy & planning, stakeholder analysis, creating practical communications solutions and an understanding of branding and multimedia processes.

The ability to be self motivated and to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality is essential. Candidates should demonstrate creative flair combined with first-rate written English and presentation skills. Fluency in Dutch would be an advantage. A polished manner and a firm understanding of the need for excellent customer service are also required. Experience of e-learning development would be an advantage.

Candidates should currently be eligible to work in The Netherlands.

Key responsibilities will include generating new sales leads, prospecting and securing business from new clients and working with the London management team to identify appropriate resources for new projects. The Business Development Executive will also support global business development and marketing initiatives as required.

Candidates should have proven experience of selling high-end consultative services to senior decision makers and be adept at assessing client needs and developing appropriate solutions. Self motivation and drive to achieve results are essential requirements as are excellent verbal and written presentation skills. Exposure and knowledge of relevant service lines, such as corporate communications, change management or E-learning would be an advantage.
